Fenton Hutson is an award-winning composer based in the U.K, working in games, media and the concert hall. Most recently he worked on Paws of Coal, a story-driven roleplaying adventure set in the Animal Kingdom on the verge of both industrial and social revolution. Though a specialist in orchestral writing styles, he is also an extremely versatile composer who has written for diverse mediums, and has worked both as an audio designer and audio implementer.

          Fenton has composed for professional ensembles such as the BBC Singers and Psappha, wrote for different orchestras, worked with international conductors such as Sir Mark Elder (chief conductor of The Hallé) and Elim Chan (Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra & Royal Scottish National Orchestra), and was made a London Symphony Orchestra SoundHub Associate. Fenton has also undertaken masterclasses with Oscar-winning composer, Gabriel Yared, and Grammy-winning composer, Marc Shaiman.

          He has a strong passion for storytelling and how music can enhance user experience, especially for games, film and TV, which has been influenced by his childhood of playing game consoles such as the Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast, watching sci-fi and fantasy movies, and staying up late to watch TV and 90s movies.
