Fenton Hutson is an award-winning composer based in the U.K. He is currently the composer of the new and upcoming game, Trip the Ark Fantastic, a story-driven roleplaying adventure set in the Animal Kingdom on the verge of both industrial and social revolution. Though a specialist in orchestral writing styles, he is also an extremely versatile composer who has written for diverse mediums such as electronic spatialised music for sound installations, Balkan-Medieval Rock hybrid music, contemporary dance, and choral music.
Fenton started his career after graduating with a Distinction Masters in Composition at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music. Here he composed for professional ensembles such as the BBC Singers and Psappha, wrote for different orchestras, and was made a London Symphony Orchestra SoundHub Associate. He also worked with international conductors such as Sir Mark Elder (chief conductor of The Hallé) and Elim Chan (Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra & Royal Scottish National Orchestra), as well as winning awards such as the prestigious Ralph Vaughan Williams Bursary and the Countess of Munster Trust Award.
In 2019, Fenton worked as a Music Supervisor Assistant for the international event, Hollywood In Vienna, and took masterclasses with Oscar-winning composer, Gabriel Yared, and Grammy-winning composer, Marc Shaiman. He has a strong passion for storytelling and how music can enhance narrative forms of art, especially for games, film and TV, which has been influenced by his childhood of playing game consoles such as the Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast, watching Star Wars & Lord of the Rings, and spending many hours watching late night TV.

Having worked in many mediums I've been very fortunate to develop my skills in various music practices, whether that has been original composition for the concert hall or video games, arrange music for wind band ensembles, orchestrate and typeset scores in various notation softwares, record in studios, mixed and mastered different genres of music, or used game audio adaptive middleware's in video game soundtracks. Whatever it is, I'm always invested on creating exceptional audio for interesting projects, and I love working with other creatives who are driven as well and want to create something memorable and inspiring.
