Having written for the orchestra multiple times; his music performed by some of the UK's best musicians (BBC Singers, Psappha); working with conductors such as Sir Mark Elder (Halle) & Elim Chan (LSO, ASO); studied under UK contemporary composers (Horne, Howard, Goves, Gorb, Bowler), as well as having taken masterclasses with Gabriel Yared, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Marc Shaiman, Brian Ferneyhough & Louis Andriessen, Fenton has a plethora of experience in working with orchestras and classically trained musicians. This experience lends him the ability to know how to write for all manner of classical musicians, and to do so quickly and deftly. Additionally, as Fenton is familiar with and a huge fan of numerous styles of orchestral music, you can be assured that your music will be orchestrated to your ideas and intent without need for constant explanation.
Music preparation is an essential yet commonly overlooked part of the rehearsal and recording process.
